Interventional Pain Practice Review Course and Workshop:

The interest in Interventional pain treatments has been exponentially mounting all around the world. World Institute of Pain (WIP) has taken a very important initiative to popularize these treatments as well as setting standards in this field. WIP has introduced Fellowship in Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP) certification in this field, which has been accepted as gold standard in Interventional Pain Practice in several countries across the world including the United States.
There has been a significantly increased interest in the WIP conducted fellowship certification examination (FIPP) and several pain physicians are waiting to take this examination and are looking forward to a course to gain more hands-on experience and more knowledge regarding the examination.
Daradia: The Pain Clinic is going to organize the second course at DARADIA: The Pain Clinic at Kolkata from 21st -24th December 2010. This course has been designed according to FIPP examination syllabus and the course is endorsed by World Institute of Pain. There will be mock test during the course. This course will help a physician to prepare for the FIPP examination and also to elevate their Interventional skills in their clinical practice.

Gautam Das is the Chairman of Indian, Iranian and Pakistan chapter of World Institute of Pain. He is the Director of Aesculap Academy Pain Management course where almost hundred specialist doctors of different speciality from all around the world have been trained in Interventional Pain Management.

Demand Draft should be drawn in favor of �DARADIA, THE PAIN CLINIC�, payable at Kolkata. For Indian participants only demand draft is acceptable. For participants outside India we prefer money transfer, mail us to know bank transfer details. Seats are limited and filled as first-come-first-served basis.

This course fee does not include food & lodging which has to be arranged by participant. If requested we may assist in arranging accommodation.

Seats are limited to give individualized attention with one-to-one interactions with FIPP faculty in several sessions. It is registered as first-come-first-served basis. Registration may be closed early before 1st December depending of number of registration like last year. In 2009 registration was closed 2 weeks prior to last date of registration.

*** This course will be organized annually to train pain physicians from all around the world. Main focus of course is on hands-on training for interventional procedures in the treatment of pain on cadaver and on specially designed mannequin. These will include high-end techniques such as Spinal Cord Stimulation, Percutaneous Disc Decompression, Vertebroplasty, Epiduroscopy etc.***
