  Dr. Gautam Das is a leading Pain Specialist of the country practicing most of the 'Interventional Pain Management' procedures. He did MD in Anaesthesiology from Calcutta University & stood first. Later he was trained in interventional pain management from AIIMS, New Delhi; Holyname Hospital, New Jersey; & Lakewood Clinic, Austin. He visited many pain clinics in India & abroad. He passed FIPP examination in 2007. He worked jointly with IIT, Kanpur to develop "Pain Assessment Monitor". He is first in India to perform Percutaneous Discectomy with disc dekompressor. He is also the pioneer of Ozone Discectomy/ Ozone Nucleolysis in Eastern India and one of the few in the country. Presently he is the secretary of Indian Society for Study of Pain (WB).
