Pain Management Training:
Three Months Fellowship in Pain Management
This is a three months fellowship arranged in association with AESCULAP ACADEMY.
Eligibility: Applicant must be a medical graduate (MBBS/MD) from any recognized university. He/She must have completed post graduate degree/diploma from a recognized Hospital in the following disciplines: Anaesthesiology, Orthopaedics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurosurgery, and General Medicine.
Highlights:
They will be attending all short courses (free of cost) during their tenure as participants and later as faculty.
They will be delivering lectures as faculty (depending on performances) and will be receiving certificates from Aesculap Academy and State Medical Council as faculty if they are qualifying.
During 1st 2-4weeks they will be practicing interventional procedures on mannequin under C-arm guidence and later 2 months they will be teaching these procedures to junior batches.
They will be examining new patients at OPD and planning management protocols with seniors.
They will be assisting seniors in performing interventional procedures.
They will be visiting admitted in-patients routinely in morning and evening at Hospital. They will be rotated in different affiliated hospitals.
Some of them will be allowed to do interventional procedures under supervision of seniors in later period, but it is not compulsory. It is possible under certain conditions, like picking of skill of the individual and certain other factors.
They will be maintaining log book of all interventional procedures and their follow-up.
They must be publishing some articles (like case report) in indexed journal.
Schedule & Course fee: Doctors are taken in each month depending on availability. Its residential at clinic's guest rooms.
Course fees for Indian residents are Rs. 57000.00 and participants will bear their own food and lodging expenses additionally at clinic's guest rooms.
Course fee for NRIs and foreigners are USD 2850.00 and participants will bear their own food and lodging expenses additionally that will be arranged at clinic's guest rooms. Airport pick up is arranged for International participants.
Course Contents: They will participate at least two 2 weeks courses. They will also complete at least one research project during their tenure.
How to apply: Send your short CV with address, month (course starts from begining of each month) along with following documents:
1. Copy of your highest academic qualification.
2. One passport sized photograph.
3. Residence proof (copy of passport is the best).
4. One recommendation letters in their letterheads from any of the two of the following persons:
a) Head of his/her Institution.
b) Principal, Superintendent or Head of the departments of any Medical college.
This recommendation letters will be addressed to "The Director, Daradia: The Pain Clinic". It should be mentioned clearly that the recommending person knows the participant for more than 2 years . It should also be mentioned that the participant maintains Ethical and Professional Standards in his/her medical practice.
Send all these documents by email (scan and attach with email) for initial enrollment at: daradiapainclinic@gmail.com. Once
we receive all these documents, we scrutinize all documents. (This may take few days.) If we are satisfied we send confirmation
of enrollment. This is not equivalent to registration.
After confirmation of enrollment International participant should pay course fee. Registration process will be completed and confirmed with
payment of course fee. Indian participants may need to appear for an interview to complete this process.
