We organise tailor made course on pain management for those who are interested in interventional pain practice. This course is for any eligible doctors with varying degree of experiences (from no experiences to reasonably experienced) interventional pain management. We prepare and design course depending on their need, skill and requirement. Only one doctor is taken at a time. Sometimes a group of doctors (upto five doctors) of same requirements and experiences are taken together if the group is formed by participating doctors themself and request comes from them. Personal care is taken to teach interventions to each individual participant. They are also evaluated at the end to assure that they have learnt interventions properly.
Course Duration: Duration of this course depends on level of existing skill, experience and also on requirement of the participating doctor. It may be from 3 days to 20 days. Stresses will be given to the practical aspects of interventional pain management procedures, including hands on practice session on mannequin and participating different treatment procedures in real patients.
Eligibility: He must be a medical graduate (MBBS or MD) from a recognised University and have completed any one of following:
1. Aesculap Academy 2 weeks fellowship on pain management.
2. Post graduate degree (MD/MS/MCh) in the following disciplines:
Anaesthesiology, Orthopaedics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurosurgery, Neurology and General Medicine.
3. Post graduate diploma (DA/DOrtho etc.) in the above disciplines with exposure in pain management.
4. At least one year residency in the above disciplines.
Course fee:
Course fee varies depending on duration and type of procedures choosed to learn. Course fee starts from USD 2000.00 for first 3 days with a maximum upto USD 6000.00 for 20 days.
Schedule: The training programme is arranged many times per year depending on availability of time and request. The date of commencement, details of course & course fees are settled on requirement of a particular doctor or group of doctors.
